Create a memorable experience for you and your guests with a delicious Afternoon Tea, complete with all the traditional accompaniments. The setting adds to the experience, as you relax in the soothing, screened-in Jefferson Portico, built in 1938 by architect Willis Irvin and inspired by Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello.
Each tea is preceded by a tour of Robert R. McCormick’s historic home, where you’ll be immersed in gracious country living of the 1930s through the 1950s. Walk through history as you explore more than 27 rooms showcasing family furnishings and collections of Chinese and European works of art.
